What does SpotGuard do?

SpotGuard turns your phone or tablet into an anti-theft alarm. Place the device on a desk, café table, beach towel or hotel counter and tap Start Protection. If anyone moves the device or it travels more than 5 meters from its anchored location, a loud siren and multilingual voice alert (10 languages) start playing. Stopping the alarm requires your PIN or Face ID / Touch ID.

How do I test the background audio?

Open Settings → Demo & Diagnostics → Test Alarm. The siren and voice alert play immediately. Lock the screen or press the Home button — the audio continues, demonstrating background-mode audio used during a real alarm.

Why does the app use background location and audio?

Background location: Required to detect when the device leaves the protected radius while screen is locked or app is backgrounded.
Background audio: Required so the siren keeps playing during a real alarm even when the screen is locked.

FAQ

I forgot my PIN. Reinstall the app to reset. Your data lives only on your device.
Audio doesn’t play in background. Make sure the device is not on Silent / Do Not Disturb and that the app has microphone-free notification permission. Use the in-app Test Alarm button to verify.
Languages supported: Turkish, English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese (PT & BR), Japanese, Chinese, Arabic.
Privacy: No data leaves the device. Location, PIN and motion data are processed locally only.

Troubleshooting

Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services and ensure SpotGuard is set to Always.
Open Settings → Notifications → SpotGuard and allow alerts.
Make sure the device volume is up; SpotGuard is configured to bypass the silent switch during an active alarm.
If the alarm doesn’t trigger when moved, calibrate the anchor by stopping and restarting protection on a stable surface.

SpotGuard ne yapar?

SpotGuard, telefonunu veya tabletini hırsızlık alarmına çevirir. Cihazı masaya, kafe masasına, plaj havlusuna ya da otel resepsiyonuna bırak ve Korumayı Başlat‘a dokun. Cihaz hareket ettirilirse veya sabitlenen konumdan 5 metreden uzaklaşırsa yüksek sesli siren ve 10 dilde sesli uyarı çalmaya başlar. Alarmı durdurmak için PIN veya Face ID / Touch ID gerekir.

Arka plan sesini nasıl test ederim?

Ayarlar → Demo & Tanılama → Alarmı Test Et ekranını aç. Siren ve sesli uyarı anında çalar. Ekranı kilitle ya da Home tuşuna bas — ses devam eder ve arka plan ses akışının çalıştığını kanıtlar.

Neden arka plan konumu ve sesi kullanılıyor?

Arka plan konumu: Ekran kilitliyken veya uygulama arka plandayken cihazın koruma alanı dışına çıktığını anlamak için.
Arka plan sesi: Gerçek alarm sırasında telefon kilitli olsa bile sirenin çalmaya devam etmesi için.

Sorun Giderme

Ayarlar → Gizlilik & Güvenlik → Konum Servisleri içinde SpotGuard’ı Her Zaman olarak ayarla.
Ayarlar → Bildirimler → SpotGuard içinden bildirimlere izin ver.
Cihaz sesinin açık olduğundan emin ol; alarm sırasında SpotGuard sessiz modu otomatik olarak aşar.
Hareket halinde alarm çalmıyorsa, korumayı sabit bir yüzeyde durdurup yeniden başlatarak çapayı kalibre et.
